Salaam — I'm Mohamed. A Somali Muslim creator and builder. I make things, write about what I'm learning, and share the honest version as I go: the wins and the false starts both.
Founder of Unbury & Masirah building in public
Not a guru, not a brand. Someone a few years into the work, sharing it honestly while it's still in motion.
I split my time between making things and writing about it. Some of that is content, some of it is companies. All of it comes back to the same question I keep asking myself: is this good, and is it good for something — for my family, for the people it reaches, for the One I'll answer to.
If that's the kind of thing you think about too, you'll feel at home here.
Do it properly or don't ship it. Read the source, sweat the details, respect whoever's on the other end of it.
I give the effort and leave the rest to Allah. The work is mine to do; where it lands was never mine to decide.
I'll show you the wins and the false starts. That's the only version worth following. On building in public

A couple of real things, with real people on the other end of them.
Done-for-you email for founders and coaches — so the messages they pay to send actually land where people read them.
The media company I'm growing back home in Oman — the umbrella over the studios and stories I'm building for the long run.
